Figure skating is a funny world...I'm sure many have heard me say that. But I do have to admit, I love it. As much as I try to get it away from it at times, it draws me in like a magnet. My mission is to instruct students who love to learn, who are determined, motivated, and have effort. And of course, love to skate! I can't tell you enough how much hard work goes into skating. I'm sure that you'll hear it at some point that it doesn't matter how much talent you have, but the effort that's applied makes you a great skater. Either for recreational or competitive, always push your limits! I am big on work ethic, and you can achieve anything you put your heart into. If I have skaters that just do it for fun, or compete, be an Olympian, or maybe one day be in my shoes and coach, it makes me happy to know that I've had a hand in helping them.

Parents...
Thank you for trusting me in molding your child's skating career. I know it takes a lot of time, money, and effort but I promise it's all worth it. I still cherish my memories of my skating career and it is so powerful to know that we are etching memories in your childs life! Please come to me with any questions or if you just want to chat!

My students...
First of all I just want to say how proud I am of all of you! Not only am I impressed by all the improvements you have made this past year but the way you conduct yourselves. I always have confidence that my skaters have good sportsmanship and manners at the rink. My skaters are a reflection of me and I never have to worry, which is a great feeling! Lets continue our success and keep up the hard work for this coming year! Remember...step on the ice and take a deep breath in...it will be a smell you'll never forget!
